is this track worth putting on my album? - 2008/02/25 07:17 I really struggled with this one today. I think I am running out of mojo for RPM, my last two have not felt really right or satisfying.

If anyone has time, can you listen to "Sound Hose Dreamin'" and tell me if you think it's enough crappier than the rest of my demos to justify leaving it off?

Re:is this track worth putting on my album? - 2008/02/25 08:47 I wouldn't say it's crappier by any means, but it meanders a bit. I feel like it could be 30 seconds shorter.

If you're feeling like you're losing steam, just make your last few songs more like "tactical idea strikes"... just get the idea out there in its purest form, and don't worry about stretching the song out or anything.

Those types of tracks are good "interlude" type things, I think.
