Yes. my editor would like the spot in the middle where the didge stops to have some runoff. let it spill over a t a quiet ish level. The silence behind the flyers (flute? pipe?) is too artificial.
otherwise it's good for me.

The solo is a mess, but overlook (overhear?!?) it. The keyboardy sounding thing in the back of the whole mix is actually my gtr with an E-bow.

The beautiful vocals and lyrics are courtesy of Laura from Siamese Drummers. I can't thank her enough for lending her talents to this song!
And I think this song really embraces of the coolest aspects of RPM...this is a collaboration between two people half a world apart. How amazing is that?

I posted an early version of Wanyama.
I sat down to do the drums for this and wanting a kind of displaced off-beat rhythm. Which I think I got, but now I'm completely questioning what the hell was I thinking?
Is this awkward or not?
Still missing the bass but hopefully soon.

I lost a week this month but I'm still going to get something out before the end. The interruption kind of worked for me because I already got the backbones for a bunch of songs recorded early and now I'm only trying to put vocals and some guitars on.

"Brainwash Radio" are various quotes from a Francis E. Dec rant read by a computerized Text-to-Speech program & overlaid over each other and then played back over an out of sync rhythm track.
