Wonderful news! - 2008/02/20 04:44 Hello. So this is my second year participating in this, but my first time doing it alone. As of now, I have 12 songs in the works and I've just posted a few demos. So, if you'd like to listen to a few and tell me what needs work or what sounds good, that would be fantastic and I would appreciate it a bunch.

Re:Wonderful news! - 2008/02/20 05:09 Scrapping... I don't know... I mean, it's nice, but yes, it feels quite similar to me. I think it would be up to the album as a whole to decide whether it belongs or not. If the album has a unique voice, then I think the track could stay.

Just don't start wailing like a sad-sack on top of that track!

I think most of the similarity is in the synth at the beginning, which is basically just straight sine waves and the percussion. So, I might have a look at those and see if I can't come up with something new to push it in a different direction.

And, I mean..as long as I don't play ukulele, everything will be fine..right?
