My new album will be a desperate mix-up, drawing on an aquifer of domestic dramas and polished by a popt sense of songcraft, all existing in a place where Tom Verlaine sits in with Lou Reed and John Leckie twiddles knobs on an ancient Moog Modular while Robert Quine sings lines from Miles' "On The Corner" LP. Trippy, but with a populist touch. Songs of the gutter that look to the stars.

The album will be called NO NEBRASKA and will pay tribute to my NYC punk and post-punk influences and heroes. The first song I record (though not necessarily the lead-off track of the album) will be a Suicide-like "John Lotter's Coming To Kill Me."
