I am a very prolific artist with almost sixty homemade album releases
to my name. Some albums were labored over a number of months. Other
albums were written and recorded in one evening. The style is an
original mix of pop, rock, folk, country, jazz, and the avant garde.
The songs are very tuneful and catchy. I had a blast with the 2007
challenge, creating an album on the fly that I am still quite proud
of. I am always up for new musical challenges and I can't wait to
get started!

Band Bio:
34 year old Alexandria native Chris Anderson has been playing and writing songs since age 12, amassing over 1000 original songs, most of which were written in 10 minutes or less, and at least half of which are pretty good. First a drummer, then a bassist, then eventually a guitarist, he cut his teeth in a variety of local bands (including Carpe Diem and Ebb), but generally shied away from live performance (for the most part), instead opting for the confines of a rehearsal space or basement studio, and stockpiling the results. In addition to band projects and collaborations, to date, Chris has recorded and released 54 "homemade" solo albums, the latest of which, "A Thousand Heels Abound", is a collection of fourteen new songs, recorded live to a single mic, that break barriers and reveal even an further elevation in songwriting, continuing Chris' trend of making music that sounds distinctively like himself and no one else. Prolific to the very core, there are several projects currently in production, ranging from prog-rock song cycles to gentle, catchy pop songs, and just about everything in between. More on those projects as warranted. As for the music itself, well, you just have to check it out. While having an "equal love and appreciation for every single genre of music", Chris' most visible influence is his prior work, of which there is plenty.
