Asterales is experimental electronic music, created mostly with Reason 3.0 and Protools LE 7.4. I also use Absynth 3, Battery 3, B4, XPress Keys, Elektrik and Akoustik Piano, Guitar Rig 3, Arturia Minimoog, plus tons of other VST instruments. It seems to drift more into downtempo and ambient territory, and so far, purely instrumental. I loved last year's challenge (my first) and am really looking forward to this year even though I'll be considerably busier now that I'm back in school. This is just a great way/excuse to develop brand new material and experiment with all of the new and not-so-new software I've acquired throughout the year. |
