2007:

For the challenge I'm trying something I wouldn't normally try. (I usually write at the piano or with an acoustic guitar.) I picked up a drum machine --- two in fact --- and I've been using the beats as the basis for the tracks. I'm writing lyrics on the train on the way home from work, loosely arranged around the theme of my relationship with New York City. I think the album will be called "Goodbye New York"
