i mainly just use my guitar and put the sounds that it makes (along with my voice) onto a 4 track. i don't know what it sounds like because i can't really listen objectively, and i'm not trying for any particular sound. i just like writing songs because i can (not because i'm good, but because i can). i first got a guitar because i realized that i could re-record the sgt. pepper album. it didn't have to be like the original (or even worth a damn), but the fact that i could do that was exciting. i guess it's with that same basic idea that i signed up for this.
