About

Description:

Just have to wait and see. Grand plans, me, don't always have the means to carry them out. Possibly live (ish), definitely just me and my guitar (and a stereo mic above the bridge of my nose, plus a Fostex recorder and about 20 of my friends and their friends.

Update: Well, it turned out to be one friend and me, no audience, 6 guitars (1 of them a bass), a drum machine (my iBook) a Marantz recorder (instead of the Fostex) and several mics, including a crossed pair.

I'm doing demos of the songs as they're written and will upload those over at macidol.com

OK, I've changed my display name to Crunchy because I like that as a stage name. The album is set to be recorded this Sunday and Monday. I'll probably be using a Marantz PMD 660 (borrowed from work) as my main recorder, with a live stereo mix done through my Ashton MXL8. Deadman Turner is teed up to put in slide guitar and if there's time for the setup, I'll run my D8 camera over the sessions.

The album is probably now called Brunette On Brunette.
