About

Description:

Being an anti-establishment bum is my greatest strength, or so my friend tells me. Which is why, given the rudimentary resources at my disposal, I shall render a record of monumental proportions! The aim is to produce a record using nothing but a plastic pasta strainer. This may change as practicalities dictate. I also have a symphony orchestra at my disposal. Various ideas shall be attempted to be tackled in this project. One is to record a whole track using only a five dollar internet mic. I have no experience in composition or smoking crack and can hardly produce a stable note on any tonal instrument, so I make absolutely no guarantees, but with the Amsterdam Philharmonik behind me I can't fail.

Technical: Most tracks will be based on some experimental idea, such as $5 mic (see above), and the album will most likely heavily feature violin as it is the only tonal instrument readily accessible to me at the moment. I hope to also include some guitar and definitely bass guitar and synth. It goes without saying that I will include drums, as that is the only instrument I am marginally apt at. I will attempt to render dulcet sounds out of the violin in as many desperate ways as my creative genius can devise, for I cannot actually play the instrument. It shall be interesting...

Group Members: This is a solo project of the Osk. But keep an eye out for the project of the man who cajoled me into this competition, "The Milos Szekeres Project", and another hapless pawn in his game, "Tom Gaudasinski".
