This is the second year for the Mighty Men. We entered and completed our project last year and it was an intense, fun month for sure. In addition, we wanted to prove we could record the entire 10 songs in GarageBand. No problem, quick, easy and we got a great sound.This year we will be using Logic Pro 8 as our software. Its a fairly new upgrade for the studio, but I'm sure by the end of February we will be getting around quite nicely. In addition we have some new guitars, and new keyboard controler and a brand new 2 channel all tube mic pre-amp along with a new duel capsule vocal mic. Lots of new toys to explore.Just like last year, we are also putting all of our current projects on hold for the month so we can fully concentrate on "The Challenge". We will also be bringing in several guest performers this year including a quest engineer. Check her out in the picture section, shes an up and coming talent, and will soon be available to handle complex mix downs at remote locations. Well good luck to all you cats and jammers, stay with it no matter how desperate you get for a song idea. Band Bio:	The Mighty Men are just that, mighty musicians with a single purpose,write,produce and record mighty music. Formed in the early 50's, matured in the 70's and heavily medicated in the 2000's, this is a band to be reckoned with. Stylistic writing and playing is the norm for this group of well matched musicians. In another time and place, they might be stars, but in todays environment, they are but humble studio rats, plying their sounds and skills in the hopes that someone, somewhere will in fact recognize the true meaning of the word.... and whats the word, in the immortal words of the Fireside Theater gang, the word is hot-dogs, yes my friends, the Almighty hot dog, king of all foods great.
