About

Description:

My original goal was to make two albums, one of re-workings of songs I wrote in high school and one of all new material. The album I ended up with - titled "Bluegrass' - ended up being completely different from those listed above, after many metamporpheses. It turned out to be a work at war with itself, between simple folk and dark, apocalyptic stuff. The ten songs are split in to sides, five songs on each, like an LP, which it aspires to.

Group Members: Erik Ritland - guitars, bass, drums, harmonica

Band Bio: I'm from St. Paul, MN. I love writing, particularly to show and not to tell, and to say stuff that most people are afraid to say, or that sounds cool. I love words. I love philosophy. I'm cynical. I'm a Christian, but not in the typical condescending, idiotic, asshole kind of way. I'm generally suspect of people and don't like it when people think they know something. Blues music, country and western, Bob Dylan, rap, and Grain Belt Premium are all awesome.
Band Members & Instruments Played: Erik Ritland - acoustic, electric, 12-string, and bass guitars, piano, vocals, drums.
Band Location (city, state or province, and country): St. Paul, MN
