| Band Bio: |
I've had the idea for Late Night Laundry for a long time. Just my own project mainly for recording and hopefully to feature "guest appearance" collaborations from people who can do stuff that I'm not good at like singing, drums, etc.
I started playing music around 1995/96. I taught myself how to play bass and was in a few bands with friends until around late 2000 early 2001. I quit playing altogether, and shortly after that, all my equipment was stolen out of storage. I wasn't involved in music for about 6 years or so (which I regret).
I spent most of 2007 building up a small collection of equipment and re-learning how to play. I had just got a recording interface for my computer and was going to start doing stuff anyway when I found out about RPM (3 days before it started). So it came along at almost the perfect time.
My influences go something like this:
1960's rock and roll of all kinds (garage, acid rock, british invasion, etc).
1990's shoegazer, psychedelic rock, "alternative" rock etc.
Techno, especially drum & bass/jungle/breakbeat and hardcore.
Weird individual influences I can't really explain properly, for example Bikini Kill, The B-52s, N.W.A., Marylin Manson etc.
