"After eighteen years of performance behind a guitar and aided by a band, Reverend Joshua Baker finds himself transformed. Necessary adaptation to new environments and conditions has mutated the sounds emenating from the stage. This new sound, taking on the form of abstract experimental improvisations and compositions, is a sonic study in individual artistic evolution. Or, perhaps, devolution, depending on perspective of the listener. Performing under the name Offset Needle Radius, J Baker strives to create each public appearance as its own unique event reflecting the (de)evolution process from the previous point in history to the next. One can anticipate sounds of abstract guitar, percussive metal and glass, primitive synthisizers, as well as a capela works, a combination of composed and improvised material. Common adjectives would be ambient, noise, melodic, poetic, meditative, quiet, loud, dark, moody, playful, terrible, profound."
