This project will be whatever it evolves itself to become on February 29, therefore it will betitled, "Leap Into The Darkness". Crick Gypsies is a cauldron of ideas, sounds, styles and influences. You will hear strains of 1940s Hillbilly Bop, 50s Rhythm & Blues, 60s Girl Groups, Free Jazz, and the evolving presence of Postmodern Blues. Some of it will be acoustic, some electric, some melodic, some solo, some layered, some just flat out noise bent into interesting shapes, sizes and tones. It will be an adventure to be savored. |
