| Album Description: |
"Catching The Light" is an album that was made from all original ideas conceived as of Feb 1st 2008. As opposed to my album I officially released in November 2008, "SONGS FROM THE ORANGE ROOM", I let the ideas fly and tried to capture the "performance" instead of "perfection". I feel I achieved a lyrically honest and personal record, and a new approach to future recording projects by just letting the ideas flow. Thanks RPM |

| Band Bio: |
Kyle Stevens has been writing and performing his brand of Sparkly Rock-Pop in the Seattle area since the age of 13, and still considers the lamp his mom made him use as a mic stand while preparing for a middle school talent show one of the best pieces of equipment he's ever owned. From the age of 13-24, Kyle fronted Seattle based band LAYMANS TERMS and having released 5 albums during that time gained a reputation for delivering intelligent, well-written rock songs and contagiously energetic performances to stages all over the Northwest.
Now, 3 years after the dissolution of LT Kyle prepares his first solo-album release, "SONGS FROM THE ORANGE ROOM".
The album is an eclectic mix of songs where one can hear Kyle's influences ranging from the pulsing chime of the New Order-ish "Sparkle and Fall", to the Shawn Colvin like nakedness of "This Is Not A Love Song". One of the songs, "Thicker Than Leather", will also be featured on cable channel THE "N" as part of the soundtrack of the hit show "BEYOND THE BREAK" during the upcoming 3rd season (January 2008).
Having spent the past 2 years performing and perfecting his material in solo acoustic settings, Kyle is now pleased to present is full band line-up consisting of good friends and respected local musicians. Matt Edington (original LT guitarist and solo artist), Ian Caruso, and Mark Wooten now join Kyle on stage bringing full band accompaniment with electric colors and life.
