This album is technically John Templeman's (J.T.) second solo disc. It is a departure from his first album (2005's NYC Acoustic Demos/Restoration e.p.) as it features many different styles of music ranging from rock, punk and acoustic to country, electronica and stoner metal. The general themes of the album are life, death and small town America, hence, the title GIRARD (named after J.T's hometown in Ohio).
