| Description: |
I spent the month of February recording an album I call "Pastime." The songs are a concept album in the form of a song cycle tracing the history of American Baseball. The folk and Americana roots sound of the album is meant to conjure both the mood of each song and the national identity with the game. While there are still things to be rerecorded or remixed - I sent what I did this month, and as far as I can tell, that's the point. In addition to the RPM jukebox, the album can be listened to and viewed along with liner notes at http://www.rossdurandmusic.com/pastime/ |
