About

Description: I'm singer/songwriter that takes rock, soul, electronica and folk, and mix the styles up to a positive aural effect (or try to, anyway). My lyrical content ranges from sublime to extreme. Sometimes nonsensical, always poetical.

For this challenge, I used a Dell Axim PDA (with Griff sequencing software installed), an Ovation Applause acoustic/electric guitar, an Xavierre electric guitar, an old Yamaha MU-5, and a Zoom H4 Handy Recorder to record all the songs for the CD. Don't expect a slicked up studio production. Do expect a lot of folk, a lot of beats, and a lot of soul.

UPDATE! The CD is now available for purchase at CD Baby.com on Itunes, and on Soundclick. Also, until June 1, you can download the entire CD for free (or for a small donation) from My website, and you can always preview them on my Last.fm page. Don't delay, get your copy today!

Group Members: Helen Sventitsky - all instrumentation (virtual and otherwise), vocals, "engineering", "production"

Hi, this is Helen. All the music listed here is the result of a handheld computer, a handheld recorder, a couple of guitars, and a dream. Enjoy!
