| Band Bio: |
Band?
No - it's really just me, Shawn Shotzberger, along with some sounds I've grabbed along the way. I used to record under the name Flintlock & Batmonk, but I broke from that convention for this project. I've released about 20 CD's over the last 10 years under my old project name, with varying degrees of success and acceptance. All have been experimental - I've always been about playing what I like to hear (to the best of my limited abilities) rather than any formulaic style.
My influences include (in no order): Frank Zappa, Ron Geesin, early Pink Floyd, Jamaican dub, American blues, world percussion, and early experimental electronic music.
