About

Description:

Acoustic sound with country, rock, and folk influences. Two twenty-something girls from Central Kentucky. Have been playing together for about 3 years now. Both play guitar, sing and write. Both have written quite a few songs since they started playing together. They are hoping to use this opportunity as a learning experience and as motivation to get some songs recorded together. Several of their friends are musical geniuses that will probably help out with recording and any other instruments that we may want to use.

I just frond this quote today that expresses exactly how I'm feeling at the moment:

Being an artist doesn't mean that you're a good artist. That was the bargain I first made with myself: I'd say, I'm an artist, but I'm not really very good.
-Paul Simon

Here's another that I also find inspiring:

You want to be a writer, don't know how or when? Find a quiet place, use a humble pen.
-Paul Simon

Group Members:

Amber-vocals/guitar

Toni-vocals/guitar

Todd-back up vocals/guitar/lead guitar

Band Bio: Toni and Amber met sometime in elementary school but didn't start actually playing music together until they were roommates in 2003. They have been playing music together ever since. They decided to take this challege to push themselves to record together and write some new material. In the process a lot was learned about the recording process and about how much time and effort goes into each song. Can't wait to do it again next year! Although pleased with how the CD turned out, it could have been a lot better if more time was available.
