Equal Time was formed out of the 2006 RPM Challenge. Bassist Tim Webb and saxophonist Thom Keith heard each other's discs at The Red Door during the listening party. Tim contacted Thom a short time later. They were later joined by the incomparable Mike Walsh on drums, and have since added Boston's Derek Kwong on trombone. The band plays obscure Jazz covers and a multitude of originals and free-improvised music.
