Well, I'm originally a bassist who learned some guitar as well along with some basic music theory. So I've got guitar and bass, also my band's drummer has his kit in my basement so I may throw some drums on, but I've never played drums before so we'll see.
As far as my sound, I guess I don't really know yet. My band is a rock/alt rock band that sounds like Dismemberment Plan and Kings of Leon mixed together. At least that's what I hear.
I think I'm going for a more experimental vibe though. Something along the lines of Interpol/Radiohead and the like. We'll find out I guess. I don't plan to write any hit singles, I'd just like to gain some more experience with song writing.
I'm sure my name raises a few questions. Let's just say that Keblo is a nickname I picked up a long time ago from some friends and I thought it would be a funny name for a band, but my band didn't go for it. So I'm using it for this. |
