UPDATE: Now that I've finished this years album I can say it has the feel of an improv jazz band from the 60s almost as if it were recorded at one particular session of players. In reality it's not too far from that. I spent as little time as I could piecing together the song parameters and tried to keep the overtracks as fresh as possible by only doing one or two takes and avoiding any editing of flaws to give it a live improved feeling.
