About

Description:

Eclectic with continuity. Influenced by everything and nothing. Sometimes aggressive sometimes passive. Metal/Progressive/Experimental? You give it a listen and tell me what Genre 'To Love Sophia' is? The '08' collection was done in 15 days. Last years RPM Challenge influenced 12 tracks created between February 11th and the 19th called 'Penchant'. They are in the RPM Jukebox for '07'. If anything besides the fun I had putting that project together was persuing it with a more open attitude and to not be hyper critical and just let er rip. I think some neat things came out of this project. The RPM Challenge is educational and fun and I'm back again this year. Look, there's a squirrel!!!

Check out www.myspace.com/tolovesophia for some stuff written this year and last. 'If Bees Could Swim' is a fun song.

Also, www.Broadjam.com/tolovesophia has 47 songs from 'To Love Sophia'.

To Love Sophia's 1st of 13 cd's 'Moon' is available at

Group Members: Buzz. He is the only member. Actually, he is a member. Get it? It is a masturbatory activity writing and recording. He plays all the instruments. He thinks he's cool because of it but he really is a pud.

Band Bio: 'To Love Sophia' is a solo artist from Stevens Point Wisconsin. My name is Buzz. Hello. I play and record and edit all my stuff.
Band Members & Instruments Played: Everything was done by 'To Love Sophia' except the picture of the Martinins . They were done by the fabulous Heather and James in Fon Du Lac!!!! The Vocal piece in 'I'm Not Fat', I'm Big Boned was done by the perpetually charming Jon Reynolds who is 'Fyrls Grandson'!!! I play and record and edit all my stuff. My arsenal includes the following; 6 String Carvin Bass, 8 string Ibanez guitar, 7 string Ibanez guitar, Korg Keys, Vocals when present and I play the drums. Boom Boom. I'm a bass player at heart. I love the drums!!! So, I like big and boom and thick. I've been influenced by everything and it comes out in odd places in the way I write. I hope you enjoy my sounds half as much as I enjoy creating them and if that is the case enjoy!!!! Thanks RPM for pushing me again this year!!! You literally ROCK!

Thanks to my Cousin Dave, a stellar drummer, for introducing me to the challenge. Also, Dennis K. gets major credit for the Heart Choking on a Cigarette drawing. He drew it, I colored it. The RPM Challenge was fun!!!! Thanks!
Group Members & Instruments Played: 'To Love Sophia' is a solo artist. All instruments, drums, basses, guitars, keys, vocals, (with the exception of the crows on 'Crow', I put a mic in the window and recorded the crows)performances, recording, mixing, blah blah blah is done solo. 'To Love Sophia' takes the focus off the musician and allows the music to speak for itself.
