Based in Washington DC, The City Veins' album is about the challenge of being a twenty something struggling to live somewhere between certainty and doubt. the album is really about life in around DC, metaphorically and literally. Themes of the gov't, obligation, freedom, war, simple conversations, globalization and the downfall of interpersonal communication pervade the songs. This project gives us the opportunity to enjoy the creativity of writing songs in the studio without worrying about recreating them for a live performance.
