Had a great time last year. Wrote and recorded all the songs in February last year -- which kick started my songwriting career. This year I have 17-18 songs that I have written from March '07 until now. My plan is to just concentrate on the recording aspect and record those songs for the 2008 CD. However, a few more songs might pop up.

Update:  The challenge went an entirely new direction.  When February 1 rolled around, I just didn't feel like working on the old songs!!!  I decided to join fawm.org and just write new songs and see what happened. Last year all of my songs were performed to other folks' backing tracks.  This year only three songs use backing tracks while the rest are just organically created with me doing all the instrumental parts.  Tried to write some story songs, mostly folky/country, but a few not that folksy.

 Here's to a great 2008 RPM CD Challenge!!!  Next year, I plan to add percussion programming (always good to plan ahead!).
