No expectations this year.

I'm not choosing a concept or a specific point of inspiration - at least not yet; if I hit a true point of desperation, I reserve the right to write a concept album about the rocky relationship arc of fourth-grade best-friend girls.

I'm also not confining myself to staying within the country vein I've kept to for the last couple years, and might widen out into a less tightly defined singer-songwriter musical realm - whatever sounds good.

Basically, the doors are off the barn and I'm ready to start writing.

I'm happy to be among the few, the proud, the three-time RPMers.
