Update for '10

lots going on this year, but hoping to improve on last year's attempt, which had some good bits but was a bit disappointing. Expect: abstract piano doodles, distorted guitar, noise, found sounds, algorithmic deconstructions & perhaps some vocals (if my throat clears before the end of the month)

Update for '09

i guess not much has changed musically, if you've heard any of my previous stuff it won't be too far away from that (for some reason my 2007 attempt isn't showing up on this site), i've had a few ideas but nothing really concrete.

Expect something a bit more minimal though, I'm kind of strapped for time to bring the noise (actually, theres always time for noise, just less layered than usu)

Update for '08

Time to update this I guess!

So, another RPM album... I suppose I was quite happy with last years attempt - I ended up doing a September album as well. Since then though, I've been trying to write everything as quickly as possible and concentrate on the exploration and invention of music rather than its consumption by others - hopefully this will be a chance to think things out a little bit more, although this might not be a good thing. I'll be quite interested to hear the results anyway.

As for the actual music, I've been kind of all over the place recently - expect some piano, synthy stuff. Going to try and put some more acoustic in there too, and some actual songs (yeah, you read right). What other things... samples, a bit more sequencing than last february, some microsound that i've putting off on purpose, goign to try and look into fractal synthesis as well - its going to be a busy month!
