'Twas a sad day when I realized that my Digi001 digital recording system needed to go back to the factory and my Digi002 was sitting in a box waiting for me to upgrade my silly computer. But I can still do this project... I'm going "old school." A 4-track machine, microphones, guitars, and my keyboard should be enough to complete this batch of songs. I did the "return to old school" experiment in 2002 and I liked the results. Hopefully my 4-track still works. I've wanted to write songs about some of the children of my friends and family members... and address concerns I have about the future. I hope to touch on politics without writing some sort of "protest" album. It's music... not a polemic. Expect my Bob Dylan & Damien Rice obsession to be on display.
