Description: Our full-length albums are each recorded in a single take; straight-through improvisations. In this way, we cut out the forethought, and attempt to stumble upon the sonic heart of humanity.

Band Bio: PSR began in late 2003 as a side project of At Knifepoint (now Pulsar47), a post-rock band hailing from Champaign/Urbana, IL. It all started when Dave and Aaron began getting together for frequent jam sessions, often times during post-show At Knifepoint parties. They began to develop their unique sound, built on a completely improvisational foundation. Field testing of the early PSR recordings was done by playing them in public at subliminal levels on Dave's cassette player. They often relaxed in a bar while subtly injecting their music into the background noise of their surroundings.
Group Members & Instruments Played: Dave Samuel - keyboards, loops, samples, effects
Aaron Hanson - circuit bent keyboards, effects, samples
Aaron Emerson Wittrig - cello, loops, vocals
Band Location (city, state or province, & country): Urbana, IL, USA
