About

Description: I STILL DON'T SING TOO GOOD.  In 2007, I set out to make "Techno-folk," combining poetry circle guitar-strumming with early MIDI Wendy/Walter Carlos and hip-hop beats.  In 2008, I went for a new wave / Goth-rock sound.  In the year 2009, I'm keeping it simple with a folk / unplugged rock album, hopefully to be recorded in one day in two or three 16 minute blocks.  BUT I STILL DON'T SING TOO GOOD.
Group Members: Just me.  Vox, guitar, programming.

Band Bio: I'm 28 now and took up the guitar and MIDI programming in high school. I wrote most of these songs when I was about 20, when most people have the experiences popularly attributed to teenagers. Because of my training as a classical brass player, the classical influence is strong and some of the songs are over-orchestrated. If I had more than a month I would strip down the orchestrations, rewrite some lyrics, and focus more on combining folk guitar with hip-hop/techno beats. And I would get a real singer.
Group Members & Instruments Played: Peter Kovic - guitar, keyboard & drum programming, "vocals"
Band Location (city, state or province, & country): Archdiocese of Houston-Galveston, Texas, USA
