At this point I aim to explore the themes of memory and history through music.

My major musical influences at this time are: odd nosdam, why?, boards of canada, thirteen and goD, subtle, takagi masakatsu, fennesz, merzbow, bob dylan, aoki takamas and tujiko noriko, among others. These may or may not work themselves into my project.

Intellectual influences that will play into the themes of the project include, but are not limited to: W.G. Sebald, Marcel Proust, Haruki Murakami, Michel Foucault, Stephen Reyna, Marc Auge, Soren Kierkegaard, Natsume Soseki, Wong Kar-Wai, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, and Yasujiro Ozu.

Musical equipment: mpc-2000xl, laptop, trigger finger, roland sp-404, casio cz1000, alto saxophone, borrowed microkorg, children's toys, and perhaps a guest musician or two.
