Beatnik Turtle recently wrapped up it's TheSongOfTheDay.com project releasing 365 free songs in 2007. But, they're not done. They're now posting a song a week there throughout 2008 - so the studio's already warmed up and waiting...

Last year, they rolled up their sleeves and spent all of February creating a concept album about work and technology called, "ALL IN A DAY'S WORK". It got some great reviews by the press (Hartford Advocate, Metro Spirit, and the blogosphere - Office Humor Blog, On Tap, etc.) and featured the song "Mason Rocket (Spy Extraordinaire)" which got a ton of podcast plays.

This year the band is excited about returning to the RPM Challenge with a new project and re-connecting with RPMers from last year!

Band Bio:	Beatnik Turtle is a horn-powered rock band that has produced six albums (including one live album), written music for TV, film, podcasts, and theater, has published an online book entitled "The Indie Band Survival Guide" (and is currently writing a bigger, better version for two major publishers), and wrote and released one song for each day of 2007 at TheSongOfTheDay.com. They continue to write and release one song each week at TheSongOfTheDay.com. Armed with a sense of humor, Beatnik Turtle's music is probably best described as fun, upbeat, and energetic alternative pop rock.
