Broken Promise Keeper

About

Description:

Broken Promise Keeper is all about the power and the pop. Power in the form of driving guitars, chugging bass lines, and pounding drums. Pop from the vocal harmonies, hook-filled melodies, and crisp production. When done right, it's like a candy-covered grenade.

Group Members:

Mostly me: guitars, bass, vocals, keyboards, and drum sequencing

But this year I asked for and received much-appreciated help from the following folks:

Lachlan Stuart, age seven, spoken word at the end of "No Choice"

Gavin Stuart, age eleven, piano intro on "Welcome to The Circus"

Will Deuel, fellow RPM'er, for the lead rockabilly guitar on "Done Everything"

Dr. Bob Cook, former bandmate, who plays keyboards and/or sings on a number of songs, including "I Know You Know" and "Light On The Snow" and "Then She Turns The Radio Down" as well as contributing his own tune, "Innocent"

Holden Richards, the leader of said former band (One Plus Two) who taught me more about good songwriting and music in general than anybody else -- he took time off his own album to record the lead guitar riffs on "Not There"
