the substars is a product of the 2007 RPM Challenge, when Ben Ortega emerged from musical slumber to create Real Time, a collection of nine simple and personal pop songs about love, light rail transit, and pet rabbits...it's, like, a roller coaster of frustration and ambition that makes one want to dance, or smile, or sulk, or rock the hell out, or some combination thereof. RPM '08 represents continuing evolution as he tries to take the next step in songwriting and recording, and to generally approximate good work.

Like last year, I'll be balancing RPM with my job and school and my girl probably wanting to do something for Valentine's Day, but I've done it before and I can do it again.
