After RPM 2007, which was a blast, I couldn't wait to start this up again. Looks like my friend Rich Bates and I are going to collaborate this year. Rich plays guitar also, and with a little help from each other, RPM 2008 looks to be a lot of fun!

Album Description:	"Tales From The Lansing Underground" is a 9 track CD recorded by Pat Zelenka (from The Pat Zelenka Project) and Rich Bates (from Under One) for the 2008 RPM Challenge.

Band Bio:	Rich Bates is one of two lead guitarists for the Lansing Michigan metal band Under One. Pat Zelenka is the guitarist and founder of The Pat Zelenka Project.
Band Members & Instruments Played:	Rich Bates plays guitar on all tracks, and bass on all tracks except #7 where the bass is played by Pat Zelenka. Any "dueling guitars" feature Rich in the left channel. Pat Zelenka plays guitar on all tracks, and bass on track 7. Pat sings on tracks 2 and 7. Any "dueling guitars" feature Pat in the right channel. Steve Chapko is the "sequenced" drummer on track number 5. Steve's drums were taken from the master tapes for "The Pat Zelenka Project: Live At Royal Oak Music Theater 1/9/2008". All other drums provided by a Korg Pandora's Box. Recorded at Pat Zelenka's apartment on a free Audacity program with cheap equipment, a Korg Pandora's Box, and nice guitars. Fueled by Papa John's Pizza and Diet Coke. Mixed by Pat Zelenka and Rich Bates at Pat's apartment on Pat's PC. Mastered by Ryan Wert at Elm St Recording Studios in Lansing Michigan. We really enjoyed the recording this year, and we plan on doing a lot more recording soon..........it was a pleasure to record together, and we would do it all over again. All songs written by Bates/Zelenka except track 6 which was written by Rich Bates, and tracks 3, 7, and 9 which were written by Pat Zelenka.
