| Album Name: |
In the Parlor With the Moon |
| Album Description: |
The title for this album was inspired in two parts:
Part one: The moon, which was full and eclipsing through our parlor window while we practiced in its entirety Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea for the 10 year anniversary show we played in Albany, NY on February 22nd with another band we're in called Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned.
Part 2: That very full and eclipsing moon was shining into our parlor while the words from Two-Headed Boy: "In the parlor with a moon across her face..." rang out in our ears.
The rest...well...a mix of inspirations ranging from birth to death. No seriously. A lot of birth and death. Plus leaving home, making a new home, and having to leave that home again. |
