The band was formed in July of 2004. At the beginning it was just a timid attempt at approaching our favourite kinds of music. With time our music has started to take colour. We all try to do our best to create the climate through warm tones which we bring out from instruments and our throats. We admit that we draw inspiration from Indie Pop, Sad Core, College Music, Lo-Fi, Alt Country. We fall asleep and wake up with those kinds of music. So far we played locally. In February of 2006 we recorded a four-track EP. In spring of 2006 our line-up has changed. Marcin Porczek (drummer) and Marcin Jurus (bass player) left the band. Since that time Slawek Plotek is our drummer and Blazej Nowicki plays bass guitar. Since recently we also have support from Ola Gawronska and her violin. In this shape ISS played some concerts of which the most important was in Myslowice during the Off-Festival. The band had also their first contact with media- acoustic performance for 'Trojka' radio (Piotr Stelmach's broadcast- 'Offensywa") and for TVP III in 'Regiony Kultury'. Summing up last half-year the band recorded its second EP "Teenage dreams so hard to beat" which was frequently played by 'Trojka', 'Antyradio' and 'Lodz Radio' as well. In autumn ISS promoted their songs during concerts in some big cities.There was also made first movie for '10000 Miles' . |
