| Album Description: |
This is the acoustic HP (Half Playing, since it's not complete) of Bradley James' as yet unreleased/uncreated LP "Where The Magic Happens". It's almost fully a demo album, yet it's not quite ready for prime time. For those of you familiar with Google products, it may be best to associate this project with a "Beta" label. :)
The aim of this album was to go for a raw, unrefined, unpolished feel and while he feels he could have done better, Brad thinks that for doing it all in three days it's not half bad. Especially since the time constraints fulfilled his artistic goal for him.
I will be posting blogs about the individual songs over the coming weeks. Yeah, I know that was supposed to have been done during the month of February... but stuff happens. |

| Band Bio: |
Bradley James is made up primarily of himself, Brad Kuhn. Brad writes the lyrics and the music, then play and sing the music... so you could call him something of a singer-songwriter?
Brad got his start leading worship in church on guitar (which he still does to this day). His primary instrument is definitely acoustic guitar, though he dabbles in electric guitar, bass, drums and piano. He one day hopes to be a one man band. Brad thought he would be the first of that kind, then he found out Bryce Avery did that with The Rocket Summer, so now he aspires to be the best of his kind... one of a kind. Or something like that.
An avid hater of the RIAA and watered down pop music, Brad vows to never sign a contract where he would not have final creative say over any song, album or project, even if they offered him all the pirate gold in the world. Not even for a pony. |
